GS 3DS game reviews | Nintendogs, SSF4 3D, PES 3D | worse launch than the PS3?

PES 2011 3D - 7.0

Nintendogs and Cats - 7.5

Man, so many bad scores in one day.:( Out of all the 3DS titles reviewed thus far that are below 7.0, I believe Pilotwings is the only one that doesn't have the "bad value" emblem.:?

Either way, seems like the good reviews are finally rolling out.:)

Didn't know GS started reviewing 3DS games until now. Man, those aren't too hot. :( I I'm not interested in any of them, but hopefully the "value" is fine for whoever gets them.

Those games weren't even destined to be above mediocre, all things considered. Launch titles, with few exceptions, were always mediocre on any platform.

They are nasty scores. It is already worse score wise than thew ps3 launch though, the ps3 got at least 3 8/10s at launch (Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, and Resistance)

Gimmick handheld will have gimmick games.

Those games weren't even destined to be above mediocre, all things considered. Launch titles, with few exceptions, were always mediocre on any platform.

As I said before, the original DS only had SM64 DS at launch. All the rest of the games ranged from mediocre to crap. It wasn't until later in the year that things started to pick up.

PS3 line up sucked but at least they got RFOM which is probably the best exclusive fps on ps3 to date.

The real problem is if somebody expected any of those games to be good.

The titles such as Street Fighter 4, Star Fox, Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil, Saints Row, etc are the real games people are waiting for.

I was hoping for Pilotwings Resort to be MUCH better than what is being released.:( Alas, I won't be picking it up but yeah, my main incentive is really OoT 3D.:P

This is why I'm waiting. Theres really nothing interesting at launch, I'm waiting till the likes of Mario Kart 3DS, OoT 3D, Paper Mario and Super Mario 3DS. Though, if I did get one at launch I'd get PilotWings and SSFIV 3D.

I have to agree, I don't know why people make a big deal about launch systems and their games. Theres maybe one or two launches on the top of my head that didn't suck.

If Samurai Warriors Chronicles gets a 6.5 or higher I'll pleased. That's the only other launch titles other than SSFIV that interests me. Pretty poor reviews so far though.

Resistance: FOM was the only game I got when I bought a PS3 in December 2006. It was good enough for me! :P

Even the PSP had wipeout pure, which was awesome and showed off the PSP really well. Bread_or_Decide

PSP had a very good launch I must say, better than the Wii, PS3 and even the DS.:P
